IG2I

IG2I is a new Engineering School created in Lens in 1992, in the heart of the coal basin of Nord-pas de Calais. This Institute is a department of Ecole Centrale de Lille, a public institution with a scientific, cultural and professional specialization.

The formation is based on the recruitment of students after the Baccalauréat (eq. British'A'Level / U.S. High School Diploma) for a 5-year training both in school and in company. In-company periods amount to 20 months, 3 of which must take place in English-speaking country. In that respect, industry is an essential element in our formation.

The youth of school is also an important asset. Indeed, it has enabled the development of a spirit of initiative and a sense of responsibilities among our staff members and students, mostly through the Students Union and associations.
